Very Personal Story – Why B.E.S.T. Means So Much to Me
I wanted to share something very personal with you, a journey that has touched our lives in a way we will never forget.
Earlier this year, my husband was diagnosed with Oesophageal Achalasia, a relatively rare condition affecting the oesophagus and its ability to move food down into the stomach.
He was losing weight rapidly, and for months the only foods he could manage to keep down was Soup, Sushi, and Sustagen. It was such a frightening time for us and watching someone you love, struggle with something as simple and essential as eating was just so heartbreaking.
After undergoing a series of tests and consultations, we were told that his case was severe and that surgery was the only option that might help. However, it was a potentially risky procedure, At the very best, we could expect was around 70% improvement if he was lucky, tops! but life as he knew it, would never be the same.
The alternative was equally frightening; without surgery, his condition would eventually progress to the point where he wouldn’t be able to eat or drink anything without an aid. We were just so overwhelmed and uncertain about what lay ahead. All I wanted now was to find a way to help him and the only way I knew how was with Bio Energetics Synchronization technique (B.E.S.T)…wow pressure was on; I had 4 weeks before the surgery!
So now that we knew what we were dealing with; I focused all my attention on working with him; using B.E.S.T. and a determination to support him in whatever way I could.
And today, I am so incredibly grateful and thankful to be able to share that his planned surgery was cancelled, and he is now back to eating normally!
For us, this has been an amazing and emotional journey, and I cannot begin to express how much it means to see him enjoying food again and getting back to everyday life.
This experience has sincerely deepened my passion for B.E.S.T. and has shown me just what a powerful tool that it is. It has also shown me just how much the body holds on to and what the mind forgets and the simple fact is that “thoughts are things”
I share this story not as a promise or a guarantee of what B.E.S.T. can achieve, because every person and every situation is different. Rather, I share it from the heart, as a very personal experience that has meant so much to our family and the simple fact that there maybe someone out there, that B.E.S.T can change their lives too.
Sometimes, the most meaningful experiences in life are the ones that remind us never to lose hope.
Let’s help your body shift what it’s holding onto.
